Computer Classes

Computer literacy is an integral part of any school education. We believe that all Pragati students should have access to computers and be computer savvy. The computer literacy program, at Pragati started with 5 computers in each building. Only Class 5 students were able to develop some computer skills in the after school program.

Today, Pragati’s computer program is being run under the aegis of the NGO Computer Shiksha ( www.computershiksha.org).

• Each student works on his/her own laptop/desktop
• Computer Shiksha has trained our teachers to help run the modules
• Live monitoring of the classes using CCTVs on internet
• Regular assessments are conducted by Computer Shiksha.
